C-O-N….SPIRACY!!!

If you will, I want to explore something here that maybe one wouldn’t expect to find on a blog site as this one, however I do believe it has a place. Often we here about the issue of mind control and theories surround global domination, computer chip implants and other issues as such.  Many times, it is the subject of jokes in sit-coms, or glossed over in terms of Academia.

I can clearly recall in my Sophomore year in college, my roomate kept telling me to read ‘Behold a Pale Horse’ .  Dealing with many issues that are shown here in this clip. Now whether or not the author of this piece has an agenda as well, I don’t know. And I can’t say that I agree with his views on world spiritual traditions as being a problem  as we humans move to the future. But I will say that this piece does raise alot of questions. I wouldn’t consider myself a staunch Conspiracy Theorist, but I do believe that there is something drastically wrong with the set up of society. Even still Spirituality can serve as a positive light in the face of evil challenges. May Allah (s.w.t) protect us in these days and always.

Bismiallah Ir Rahman Ir Rahim.

I never thought that this day would come. Yet here you are at your Aqiqah, surrounded by everyone who wants to hold you, to tickle you, to try and make googlie faces at you in suspense that you will crack a smile. Praise be to Allah (s.w.t) for you coming into my life. Of course I don’t know what the future holds for you or me. But one thing is certain…..beyond the pain, the blood, the hard times, the endless nights wondering if I would even make it through the next day, you have come. I can only tell you about the pittfalls, I can’t save you from them, since I’ve fallen into many over the years. In hindsight; this moment, this energy, the power, also called life; is yours for the taking. Never settle, fight until the end to understand everything that you do and why you do it. Whether you break a heart in your lifetime, or have your’s broken; take the lesson from it and move on. There is hope, there is a way out, Were here to help anyway that we can. But the choice is still yours…My son. Welcome to you.  Again..welcome to you.

The Sense of Humor.

Bismiallah Ir Rahman Ir Rahim.

Going back to the first issue of ‘path of the heart’, it was always tried to be focused around the theme of the mind the body and the spirit. Of course these words can easily be thrown around at will when trying to approach issues related to inner progress and making sense of the world around you. But when thinking about this topic, what almost goes un-discussed is the topic of how once in a while, some have used the ways of Humor to help others through making them laugh. Now before you say to me…”Brother, you know we should not take this life as joke and what to we have to laugh about anyway?” Then I would say , “True yet some times laughter can be used to help others when monitored in limits and with an essence.” The first story that I had ever heard that was narrated to Nasurdin Hoja not only had me cracking up for hours but after the laughter, saw how that story made an issue that seemed so difficult, so much easier to deal with. I wanted to write about this topic for one main reason : to show depth of the major figures of within Islamic history and the many different methods they used to help others.

Not only were Nasurdin Hoja’s “jokes” based only on hard to grasp religious issues, but sometimes took a jab at some of the political issues that were happening during his time; making some of his stories a form of political satire. Whatever your stance on jokes, or concept of comedy in general, the contributions of those used comedy as a way to breaking down topics that are at times not easy to digest should at least be acknowledged. There are always limits to using laughter as well there are always limits with being overly rigid when thinking about life; it would be nice if we could find a balance between the two. Something that I have personally tried to do more, but unfortunately my family doesn’t think that I would make a very good full time comedian based on the jokes I‘ve tried. At any rate…just thinking about topics related on Spirituality, humor (in measured pieces of course) has to play a part in there somewhere, somehow. If we want to probe the topic of humor related to spirituality further, that is a sub topic of finding balance in life which is something that I am sure that we are all striving for. Inshallah, I always send these words to you in peace, and never in negativity. As we soon approach the new Islamic year may we all find something in it to be able to welcome it in with a smile. As-Salaam Aliekum.

And watch the trailer…

Bismiallah ir Rahman ir Rahim.

Inshallah I am hoping to purchase this dvd in the upcoming months. When I found out that a movie was made concerning Imam Al Ghazali (Q) I have to admit I was taken aback; because its not something that I would even think that someone would do. But then again, Why not? In this time when anything related to Islam and it’s historical figures are related in the media, it is almost usually in a negative light. However no matter how much people have tried to cast the great thinkers of the Islamic thought in a bad light, it only adds more truth to the light that these were indeed special people. And of them was of course,…. Imam Al Ghazali (Q). Respected by both Islamic  and worldwide theologians, philosophers, mystics and poets; a film like this is right on time.

I have to admit, I have “read” some of his writings and only concluded that I did not understand hardly anything that I read; his mind was very deep and profound. It was only after finding a Sheykh and listening to his words, that some of those writings begin to make a little sense in this wild and crazy brain of mine. For all it’s worth I say “bravo” for a film being made like this. I would like to see more, maybe some on Ibn Arabi (q) and other great thinkers and critical minds of the Islamic world.

Update.

1- Finished child birthing Classes. The teacher was good and made the classes more bearable.

2-exploring the possibility of adding two new sections. One on social issues and another on the spiritual tendencies in conscious music.

3- Preparing to write the next “Path of the Heart” paper article. Most likely on the importance of keeping a sense of humor while navigating through a serious life.

4- Having seen an episode of “Journey Man” it once again has sparked my sub-conscious obsession with Time Travel. I remember Sheykh talking about this once years ago. What i liked about that show was that the character was always ‘transported’ against his will and always to do a good deed and never ‘just because’.

5- lately my alter ego has been picking up some hidden messages on Jedi Mind Tricks most recent; ’servants in heaven, kings in hell’ . Whoa…it’s not for the faint at heart.

6- Finally, getting a kick out of the american government crying because the government of Pakistan no longer wants to play patty-cake with the stringent rules in the War on Error. …and yes I said Error.

Water Transformed.
